Katherine
1 year since diagnosis
Age at interview: 52
When Katherine realized that her symptoms were not getting less she sought advice from her doctor to check what is normal and not. She continued however to suffer from symptoms such as being out of breath, palpitations, difficulties reading and her sight overall and difficulties sleeping. Since she got COVID she has been eager to return back to her daily activities as she feels that may her help recuperate. She did, however, have to reduce her working hours and eventually her employer decided to stop her working hours completely. And, even though counterintuitive to her, she noticed a great improvement once she stopped working. She is waiting for an approval for a treatment and exercises to improve her sight. There is a noticeable change of her sight since she had COVID. She hopes that this treatment will contribute to further improvements. She keeps an optimistic attitude and will keep fighting until she hopefully feels better again.
