Karmin advises other women to reach out for help as soon as possible.
Transcript
I think I would talk to them about the importance of reaching out for help as soon as you feel like something’s off. And to know it’s – like, yeah, you might feel like it’s just hormones and stuff going on, but I think it’s good to make sure you have your resources lined up, even if you think that there’s, like – even if you think that there’s no way that you could get, like, a postpartum or perinatal mood disorder. Like, even if you think there’s not possibility it’s still good to be kind of prepared for that and to know the signs and symptoms of it. And to make your partner aware of the signs and symptoms too. Because sometimes you might not always notice things. And also too, like, I had learned, like, rage can be kind of a symptom, so you know, making sure they know that.
