Transcript

I was 28 years old, and I got into what I thought and was told was pneumonia. So I went to my family doctor, she said ‘pneumonia, take some antibiotics and you should be good.’ All right, so two weeks later, I wasn’t good, and I came back to my family doctor and we did that all over again. ‘Here’s some antibiotics, go home for another two weeks and wait and see.’ During that time, I started to get many, many more symptoms. I was really short of breath. I was sitting up to sleep. I have stairs at school and I could not climb them anymore. And they put me on the third floor because my room was being painted. So that became very, very difficult.
