Kari wonders if she'll ever be able to return to nursing.
Transcript
They don’t know if and when I’ll be able to return to work or if I’ll even be able to return to nursing. From what I understand so far, a lot of people have been able to return to work, but not in the same capacity. And for nursing, it’s a very busy occupation, so yeah. So, now it’s just a lot of waiting and seeing and there has, since I first got really sick and what they told me is the stress of managing a long-term care facility, especially during COVID, that stress was enough to exasperate the long COVID that was already there that I may have been able to function with, but then that extreme stress added to it, just put my system into a crash and so now it’s, uh … I’m better than I was in June, but it’s a very slow process and I’m better because I’m not doing anything. If I were to go back right now doing what I was doing then, because I was also doing a Bachelor degree at the same time, I’d be right back to where I started. So, it’s a lot of frustration, a lot of really, [pause, becomes emotional] sorry.
