[Often times, when you start your story all over again, you see one doctor, then you go see another one a month later. He says, “What are your symptoms?” and you start all over again. At one point, I arrived one day, and I was very tired, so I started talking to the doctor, and then I started crying. So they asked me if I had any suicidal thoughts. Or if I was thinking of having a breakdown. They said, “We can have you talk to a psychologist,” and all that. But I said, “No. I just want to rest. I’m tired of starting my story all over again.” Then he must have said, “She’s crazy,” because in a way, that’s what they’re there for! But you know, they’ve got your file, look at it, then go and read a bit of it first… But that’s it, they want you to repeat it.] Translation from the original French.
