Nicole now realizes that exercise is not always the right approach.
Transcript
I would say, “Don’t push yourself, don’t try and push through this.” I’m someone who would always push through an injury and not rest and this is not something that you can push your way through, you will make yourself worse. Even trying to explain to my daughter, you know exercise is good for you, but exercise is not good for me right now. Trying to wrap your head around that, because I’m a strong proponent of exercise and in every other condition that I can think of, you’re going to benefit from exercise, but in this case it’s going to make you worse. And you need to pace – pace yourself cognitively and physically and listen to your body. I didn’t listen to my body for the longest time and I was couch ridden for five months, so pace yourself.
