Symptoms of Long COVID – Nicole

Nicole couldn't remember the words for everyday objects.

Transcript

So I started losing words, I forgot the word for truck, I forgot the word for bottle. I was making myself lunch one day and I had a pot of food and it was ground beef and vegetables and I was trying to portion out my food for the week and I couldn’t figure out how to get the food from the pan to the containers. So I was using tongs and the food was falling through the tongs and I thought, “well, that’s not working.” And then I grabbed a spatula and the food was falling and I thought, “if only there was a tool that I could use to get this food into these containers.” And I opened the drawer and I saw a spoon and I thought, “oh yeah that thing.” And I had forgotten the name of a spoon, the function or purpose of a spoon.
