Wayne has been living with long-COVID symptoms, such as raspy voice, brain fog, vertigo, and pain in his legs, for almost a year. Living with these symptoms long-term has been very frustrating to Wayne because there have been no treatments made available to him to cure the symptoms. He wishes that doctors were more informed about long-COVID, more willing to acknowledge that people are living with long-COVID, and open to thinking outside the box on solutions to help people get over long-COVID. However, Wayne is thankful that he has a good support system in his life and that he is able to do work around the symptoms to be able to do the things he enjoys in life (e.g., taking his granddaughter to school). He does have hope that the symptoms will go away at some point and tries to keep a positive attitude in the meantime.
