Ruth says long COVID is the hardest thing she has ever had to deal with in her life.
Transcript
And what I can say is that this has been the hardest journey, the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with in my life, and I’m still dealing with it. It’s been very upsetting, it switched, and it completely changed my life. Not for the best. And I’m unable to work. Now I am no longer an instructor at the college and I loved my job, I loved my job. I had a business as well. And I had to stop that as well. So not only has it hurt my health, but it’s hurt me financially. It’s just changed everything, every single aspect of my life. And basically, all I do all day is symptom manage, because it’s not like I wake up and I just know how I’m going to be. I don’t know how I’m going to be that morning. I don’t know how I’m going to be that evening, I can kind of calculate based on the activities that I’m going to be doing, how I may react, or really, there’s no definite way of knowing how I’m going to be reacting to anything.
