WhiteFeather has a partner who supports her in many ways.

Transcript

Yeah, and I’ve been very, very fortunate to have the support from my partner, both financial and emotional support. When my PhD was suspended, my stipends were completely cut off, so I’ve been dependent on him to cover the rent and cover the cost of groceries as well as look after me, remind me of things, because part of the neurological damage that I’ve sustained has been extreme brain fog, an inability to grasp words that aren’t normally part of my vocabulary, remember appointments. I’ve also been extremely clumsy, like dropping and smashing things on the floor all the time, and he’s sort of right there with the broom and dustpan and like it’s OK, you’re going to be fine.
