Another thing I would suggest is to not rely on the patient always to do the communicating. I don’t think I would have got such great care as I did if the public health nurse hadn’t communicated with the family doctor. And the family doctor hadn’t communicated with the social worker. You know, and the obstetrician communicated…I mean like there’s just so many people who are involved in care of a patient. We, you know, and if, and if they hadn’t communicated at any stage in that it could have all fallen apart. You can’t expect any one person to do it all and that includes healthcare professionals. So it’s really really important to communicate and not rely on the patient to, to do that information. I think too often in our healthcare system we expect the patient to remember their own, you know, circumstances and communicate that to the next care provider. And we can’t, we can’t do that because they’re either not going to communicate or they’re not going to remember or they’ll remember incorrectly. And so you need to, to take the initiative to communicate better.
