Amanda2 built a trusting relationship with her health care provider.

Transcript

I built a relationship with her over the – I think I saw her – so it would have been ‘20/’21. She just discharged me this past fall, no maybe after, oh, my gosh, early winter. So, I got to know her over the course of a year or more. And she was just pretty down to earth and non-judgemental. She just normalized too, I mean, she explained that that was postpartum psychosis. She validated how crummy the experience was when I went into psychiatric emerg and then the follow up after that. So, she validated that. So, I just felt like she listened. She normalized it for me. She explained that pregnancy and the postpartum women are at the highest risk for developing mental health conditions. So, yeah, she really normalized it.
