It is hard for Kaitlyn's husband to understand what is happening to her and she shares less with him because of that.

Interviewer: And did you – could you talk to your husband about how you were feeling?
I could, but I feel like his emotional capacity is just like, limited. I just feel like he doesn’t understand it. Even if I articulate myself extremely well. At one point I did like, lose it. And I just told him that like I needed help, and that I didn’t feel very well. And his response to me was if I didn’t like being at home that much he would just go on mat leave and I could go back to work. So it was like he clearly doesn’t understand, and that was just so disheartening to have that response. Like you know and just shut everything down, so.
