I tried to fight it a little bit, like once he was born I thought maybe things would improve a bit but quickly I realized this is really severe and it’s not improving. So I went to the midwives and I had to tell them, “This is my – what I’m experiencing and I need help.” And then they did put me in contact with the hospital and they provided therapy and a psychologist who then prescribed medication and therapy.
Interviewer: So was it hard for you to – so you had to go and tell them, “Hey, I need help. You’re not…”
Yeah. Yeah. It was really hard and I honestly expected more care after pregnancy, even just from the doctors. Like, you know, this is something so common I kind of expected people to just be more aware, just ask some questions but no one really did.
