A key moment for Susan was when someone reached out to support her; now she is doing the same for others.

Whenever I notice somebody has a baby I always reach out to them maybe a month after the baby’s born because somebody did that for me and that was the first person that I told about how I was feeling and confided in her and told her, this is how I’m feeling and I don’t know, it’s scary, I don’t know what to think. Like I don’t know why this is happening to me and I feel like there’s something wrong with me, you know? And she was a really great support to me through the whole thing. And you know, if I can be that kind of a support to somebody and turn this negative into a positive for someone, then I will.
You know, I’ve always been that kind of person where I feel everything happens for a reason and I think all of this happened for a reason and that reason might be to help somebody else who is going through it. You know, when I’m feeling better myself. I’m on the way, for sure.
