Tara feels lack of support services spirals into bigger problems.

I’m just so disappointed that women have to find Facebook groups. And go through Facebook groups to find resources – to find groups. It’s hard to find information then. It’s hard to find – the implication is, mothers are isolated. They aren’t able to deal with their depression. It can cause them to not be able to take care of their children. Like, their baby. Because they’re going – you know, they can’t face what they’re dealing with. Like, how do they take care of a child? And, you know, and there’s moms that are that may have more than just their baby that they give – they have other kids. You know? Like, it’s a whole – it’s a family unit implication. You know?
Like, it spirals out of control kind of thing. Gets bigger and bigger, the implications. Because there’s so many layers to it. It’s not just the woman. It’s the baby. It’s the family and it’s the relationship with your partner and then it’s relationship with your community and it’s like it goes bigger and bigger. And the less – and because we know that mental health issues impact our physical, so then, you know, we might be going more to the doctor. We might need to use, like, the hospital more.
