Dr. Robinson is an Indigenous (Métis) scholar and a member of the Manitoba Métis Federation. She is an associate professor, Department of First Nations Studies at UNBC and has expertise in Indigenous Education and Indigenous Disability Studies and is committed to community-based research. As a lifetime resident of Northern BC, Dr. Robinson is guided by relationship and the Four R’s (Respect, Relevancy, Reciprocity, and Responsibility) in her work at UNBC and beyond.
